Illinois' Homeschool Registration Form

This is what the currently in use Illinois State Board of Education's home school registration form looks like.

Yes, it says to register every September, but that's just a request not a requirement. The next sentence admits the form is voluntary.

You're NOT required to provide all of this information to the state or to the school district.

All you need is the withdrawal letter at the time you withdraw your children from a public school, followed in a week or so by the Confirming Successful Transfer of the Student letter.
